We look forward to welcoming you to meet with our teachers, advisors, and program leads during the evening of Wednesday, September 18th. This will be an “on-campus only” event, and further details will be provided in next week’s eNews.

Student Schedules

We hope that it was a good first two days in your classes. Grades 10–12 may resume requesting course changes beginning Friday, September 6th, and should consult the Course Change Windows for further opportunities and limitations. Grade 8s and 9s may request changes to their Semester 2 courses before Winter Break. For any further questions about courses and schedules, please contact Mr. Chris Vytasek, Associate Principal of Academics, via email at: cvytasek@stgeorges.bc.ca.

Cell Phone Policy — Senior Campus

During the 2024-25 academic year, St. George’s Senior School will continue with its restricted use of cell phones and personal data devices during the confines of the school day. The Technology and Cell Phone Use Policy has been updated and coincides with the order by the BC Ministry of Education to restrict cell phone use in schools throughout the province. Student Dress Code:
Important Information For Photo Day On
Wednesday, September 18

(More Information To Follow)

The St. George’s School Dress Code and standards of appearance continue to play an important part in our school tradition and exist to cultivate an educational setting where students can concentrate on learning in a safe and respectful environment. Students are expected to wear their uniform properly each day and with pride.

During this first week of school, students were asked to wear their full #1 School Uniform, which included a white dress shirt, school tie, school blazer, grey pants, grey socks, black belt, and black polishable dress shoes. Starting Monday, September 9th and through to the Thanksgiving Holiday Break, students will have the option of wearing their Spring Uniform dress, consisting of a school polo shirt, grey pants, grey socks, black belt, and black polishable dress shoes. Grey dress shorts will not be permitted as part of the school uniform during this time of the year. Please be aware that there will be days throughout September and October when the #1 School Uniform will be required for a formal Whole School Assembly or during a special event, such as the upcoming Photo Day on Wednesday, September 18th.
