St. George’s School offers a number of robust Aquatics programs and opportunities for its students. The Junior School and Senior School Swim Teams are open to all interested boys, providing the opportunity for all St. George’s School students with swimming experience to train and compete. In addition to swimming, the School offers a Water Polo program with both recreational and competitive opportunities. Lifesaving courses are also available as well as swimming opportunities within the St. George’s curriculum at both the Junior and Senior School.
St. George’s swim teams are perennial champions and Water Polo is growing. We have seen our boys become National Record holders, National Team members, Paralympians, International medalists, and university varsity athletes in the two sports.
Our Aquatics Facility is Kerr Pool, located at the Senior School Campus. It is a 25m, 6-lane pool with competition-level starting platforms and bleachers for viewing events. The pool is also fully equipped with water polo nets and gear. While the pool is primarily used for school programming, it is available for rent subject to availability. Please contact Neil Jones, Head of Aquatics for more information.
